Councilor Tracy Musson (Incumbent)

"Voted in or acclaimed, I am proud to represent the residents of Thorsby! This is my second term on council for the Town of Thorsby!
I do feel that the past four years were progressive. Sometimes it is hard to recognize, as many processes move so slow. The Municipally Controlled Corporation ('MCC') with Wetaskiwin County #10 is a result of process. There are procedures to follow, it keeps us accountable and responsible. Things do not happen overnight!
I have served this community as a volunteer since 1993, I have been on council since 2021. These next four years holds hope for significant improvements with infrastructure and betterment of our town. I grew up in the city, moved to the country, and embraced small town living! My vision for Thorsby is to be a quaint little town that people love to call home."

Councilor Carrie Levins Nelson (New)
"I have been a proud resident of Thorsby for the past six years. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with The Co-operators, build and grow my own DJ and entertainment business, and actively contribute through the local Chamber of Commerce. Each of these roles has helped me connect with the community, be involved in local events, and gain a deeper understanding of the unique strengths and needs of our town.
I’ve decided to run for Councillor out of a genuine desire to help Thorsby thrive. I’m committed to supporting and expanding community events, strengthening local businesses, and exploring practical ways to improve town infrastructure. My goal is to ensure Thorsby continues to be a vibrant, welcoming place for both residents and visitors.
I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside fellow Councillors, our Mayor, and the town’s administration—while listening to and engaging with residents to help shape the future of Thorsby together."

Councilor Kevin Reynolds (New)
"Retired Developer."

Councilor Audrey Watson (New)
"After 16 years working at the Thorsby Arctic Spas Recreation Complex, it was time for a change. I have listened and heard many of the comments made about our town, some good, some bad. So that being said, I decided to run for council to address some of these concerns. I hope to be the voice of reason, show fiscal responsibility, and to serve the Town in a respectful manner."
