Public Service Announcement - Collection Dates in Thorsby

Did you know?
The average Automated Side Loader (ASL) truck is 16 to 32 cubic yards, though some models can be as large as 37 or 43 cubic yards! Compared to the size of Thorsby streets, those trucks can feel gigantic. Having multiple trucks on our streets on the same day during regular waking hours can be very taxing to traffic and safety. As a result, Thorsby and Integrity Waste Solutions has had to make a change to the collection schedule.
- Waste (Garbage) Services
- This service will change from a weekly frequency to bi-weekly, meaning your 65-gallon orange lid bins will only be picked up once every other week on a scheduled basis.
- Waste (Garbage) pickup will still occur on Thursdays.
- Recycling Services
- This service will increase to a weekly frequency.
- Recycling pickup will now be on Tuesdays.
- Organic Waste Services (NEW SERVICE)
- This service will occur weekly from May 01 to October 31, and bi-weekly from November 01 to April 30 in any calendar year.
- Organic Services will be on Tuesdays.
