Beware, Thorsby residents... This Halloween, it’s not just ghosts and goblins lurking in the shadows—there’s a new invader in town!

The Himalayan Balsam has arrived, and it’s more terrifying than you think! Like a plant from a horror story, it spreads fast, choking out our beautiful native plants and causing chaos in our waterways.

It’s creeping up on us, silently taking over, but don’t worry—we can stop this floral infestation together! Here’s what you can do to help:

  • Uproot any Himalayan Balsam you see before it spreads!
  • Dispose of it properly—don’t leave any parts behind!
  • Report sightings to the town so we can take swift action!

This invasive plant isn’t just a trick—it’s a real threat! Let’s treat it before it’s too late!
