Thorsby Bulk Water Station

Thorsby's new bulk water station is now open for business as of January 19th, 2026! This station was purchased through government grant funding, and will be a new way for Thorsby to diversify the services that it offers to local residents, rural partners, and those visiting the area.

Please be aware for all users that the new bulk water station operates at a higher pressure level than the old station. Use caution when operating

How to Set Up an Account

Clearances and Fills

The new bulk water station boasts:

One overhead fill arm with a 14'22'' clearance (with a second to come in Spring 2026).
A three-inch camlock for truck fills.
A recreational vehicle (RV) fill.

Please be cautious to check your clearances when using the bulk water station.

If you have any further questions regarding limitations or usage, you can contact Public Works during regular business hours.

Cost and Payment

The cost of fill at the bulk water station is in line with current water rates and stands at $6.00 per cubic meter.

You can either pay by pre-loading an account with funds (see the user manual for more information), or using your card at the station.

Please note that the card reader at the station does not accept debit at this time, only credit. The credit card payment machine also accepts tap and swipe.

After using the keypads, please remember to close the keypad doors to help protect them from the elements.
