Thorsby's New Notification System!

Thorsby is proud to introduce a new mass notification system (also not an April fools prank!). Using this mass notification system, we can deliver information for what you want to know on your terms.

Navigate to the Mass Notification page, and sign up for Mass Notifications today.

Do you want text alerts, emails, or phone call alerts? You can choose and decide all your settings. Do you want to know about upcoming council meetings, or just when there is work going on in your area that may affect Town utilities? You can choose what you want to receive.

Please keep in mind that you have to change the settings for what you wish to receive, and in what manner. This is a program you are able to opt out of at ANY time. If you sign up for notices of emergency work, you may receive notifications at any hours of the day. Keep an eye out for any new categories of notifications in the future, and if there's something you wish to see that isn't a category, send in your suggestions to info@thorsby.ca.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Town will not commonly notify for all work done by outside utility providers (ie. Fortis, ATCO, Telus, etc). Your provider is required to give you notice through their own system when work may occur that disrupts your services. As well, some situations, such as middle of the night Public Works operations and fixes, may be quickly emergent and might not get immediate notifications.If you have any further questions or concerns, please email info@thorsby.ca.
