Mayor Rod Raymond

Just a quick note to thank you for calling out those in your town that were not observing social distancing and self isolating with regards to Covid19. At this desperate time, it's feels good to know that someone is taking stern action to protect his community. Perhaps it will serve as an example for other mayors and community leaders. Well done.

Congratulation on your outburst. Being politically correct is not going to solve anything right now because of the idiots who are ignoring instructions and warnings. I wish you could quickly become PM!
We still have flights arriving from the US and look at their numbers! Airports should be closed and mandatory stay at home!

Hi Mr. Raymond: I live half way across to country from you in a small Quebec town. Wanted to thank you for your courage in calling out those pinheads. Could not agree more with you. It’s about time our leaders say what needs to be said.

Good for you on your comments about the selfish people who refuse to educate themselves about this horrendous situation we are in. Absolutely no time for the faint of heart to be worrying about their feelings. I for one, when this is cleared up, will now be making a point of going to your town to spend some money and help support it. Please do not backtrack on your statements. You were right on the button. Thank you.

Just heard about your message to residents and wanted to say “ Bravo”. Your unbridled direction to self centered idiots are exactly what some people need to hear. Excellent work!! I wish some other politicians would do the same. 100% behind you

Mr. Raymond,

You are an elected official in a position of authority. With all due respect, you won't get people to comply by berating and disrespecting them. If I may ask, what were your whereabouts a month ago, when the virus was silently spreading?

Mr. Raymond, I live Lucan Ontario which is 15 outside of London Ontario, and I just saw how you addressed your town and I would just like to say to you, BRAVO. I wish you were the mayor of my little town or even London Ontario. People are not taking this virus seriously and it’s incredibly frustrating. My husband is a cancer patient because of these selfish idiots his stem cell transplant has been postponed and I am unable to go with him for his chemo appointments because of people not staying home and social distancing. I just wanted to say thank you, and for being real. That’s seems to be very lacking with all these politicians not wanting to offend anyone. Again bravo and keep up the good work.
