Municipal Census

Please be advised that the Town of Thorsby is holding a Municipal Census. The purpose of the census is to ensure that our municipality gets it share of grant funding and to help plan for improvements to our community such as infrastructure needs, etc. as per capita based.

The Municipal Census is being conducted under the authority of the Municipal Government Act. The collection of personal information is authorized by section 33c of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. (FOIP)

The Enumerator involved in the census has sworn an oath of secrecy. All information collected will be kept confidential and used only for the production of anonymous statistics.

Your co-operation in providing the requested information is important to the census and is greatly appreciated!
