Victim Services Support for the Community
Following the tragic event last Friday in our Community, the RCMP and Victim Services will have Support Workers available at the Thorsby Community Center on Wednesday October 11, 2017 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to help those who have been affected by the recent tragedy that occurred in Thorsby. Support Workers will be on site to provide resources and support to anyone who may be experiencing trauma/stress at this time.

The events of last Friday, October 6, have shocked our whole community. As most of us looked forward to the Thanksgiving week-end, for the family of local businessman we all know as "Joe from Fas Gas" , sadly Thanksgiving was not able to bring the same joy. Water Update - October 4
Further to last weeks update, we can now report that the “soft start-up” on the additional aeration is now well under way.. Currently all eight lines, consisting of three diffusers each are now operational but at 25% capacity. This will be ramped up gradually over the next few weeks to continue to minimize the risks of a turn-over event.
