WATER BREAK REPAIR

The water line break has now been repaired and water service is now resumed. Purely as an extra measure, residents who experienced service interruption should run their water for five minutes or so to clear their internal feed lines. We thank everyone for their patience during the service interruption.

WATER OUTAGE - MONDAY OCTOBER 30

There is a water break in the area of 51 Street and 48 Avenue, pressure has been throttled back to maintain supply to residents today, Sunday October 29.  Repairs will be effected on Monday October 30, so please be aware that interruptions to water supply will occur while the repairs take place. At the October 10, 2017 Regular Meeting of Council, Mayor Rasch presented Councillor Rick Hart with a certificate of recognition for his thirteen years of service to Thorsby. Victim Services Support for the Community

Following the tragic event last Friday in our Community,  the RCMP and Victim Services will have Support Workers available at the Thorsby Community Center on Wednesday October 11, 2017 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  to help those who have been affected by the recent tragedy that occurred in Thorsby.  Support Workers will be on site to provide resources and support to anyone who may be experiencing trauma/stress at this time.
